We know your organisation depends on us for your security provision so we’d like to offer some reassurance during this difficult time.
We have all watched with concern as the incidence of COVID-19 steadily increases around the world. We want you to know of our absolute commitment and a responsibility to work in the best interests of our guards, our customers and our community during this extraordinary circumstance. This is a circumstance where we all need to come together and share ideas, so if you do have any questions or need advice, we are here to help however we can.
We would like to share with you the measures we are taking to ensure service continuity to you, particularly during any future working restrictions the government may impose.
Business Continuity Plan
Acclaimed Security has a Business Continuity Plan to ensure we can maintain our operations and support functions. This plan will be executed in the event of our office closure or social distancing policies. Our management team is currently meeting daily, and we are working hard to ensure you receive the best level of service we can provide while adhering to any governmental emergency measures.
Our office telephone system can distribute and divert the calls to any location. Should schools close, or the government ask people to work from home, our colleagues in office-based functions have the right mobile working and collaboration technology to enable them to do so. This is a tried and tested scenario at Acclaimed as we often use it in adverse weather conditions, and you should therefore experience ‘business as usual’ in this respect.
Our main offices will remain open until advised otherwise. Our 24hr Control Room will operate with a skeleton crew at all times.
Our guards will be working on sites as business as usual. We have contingencies in place to cover any illness and self-isolation.
Our Management Team can work remotely from our office so support will continue as before.
Your safety and the safety of our guards is our main priority. Across our organisation we are encouraging colleagues to minimise unnecessary travel and social gatherings.
All colleagues are continually reminded of the precautions they should take, including practising good hand hygiene. We’re also speaking to any team member returning from holiday and encouraging self-isolation in line with government guidelines where necessary.
Our guards are being advised to follow customers’ procedures when arriving on-site and to wash their hands thoroughly before and after touching any equipment. If you have any specific measures in place at your sites, please make us aware and we will put these in place with the attending officers.
We will continue to review our plans in line with government advice and remain committed to supporting you with the highest levels of service.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact our office on 0345 838 3400
