Acclaimed Security is a unique organisation which understands its customers and their approach to onsite security. We have been supplying security officers to all areas of industry, commerce and councils for over 10 years. And in that time we have become increasingly aware of the concerns and needs of people across these sectors. My first experience with clients was to be told of wandering guards, or drowsy ones who had the attitude that the site is normally quiet so they can nip off for a few minutes. I was determined that this would not happen, and you will hear soon of my solution. This knowledge has led to us developing a new high-tech digital tool which checks that our guards and lone workers are always on the job, and alert. And ensures our clients are getting a service they deserve, and are paying for. Although our operation is concentrated primarily on manned guarding, we pride ourselves on offering a complete security solution to businesses of all sizes. Our clients needs differ enormously, and we make sure we work closely with them to ensure we are supplying the right level of security, tailored to their needs. This might mean key holding and attending alarms outside normal business hours and responding to them accordingly to the situation or the concerns. It might mean random patrols, which can be conducted for lower levels of security, at more economical rates. It might mean offering advanced CCTV surveillance which is monitored on our clients’ behalf by dedicated control room staff trained in the latest and most efficient methods of remote monitoring and response. Using a secure ID you can view your premises online at any time night or day. You can see that the premises are safe, that there are no breaches of security or simply observe your staff onsite. Our staff are carefully selected, fully licensed and trained by the security industry authority. Endlessly vetted and site trained by our mobile supervisors to ensure that they are a superior force against crime. In order to make sure you receive the highest levels of security we ensure all guards are fully acquainted with your site before they are assigned to it. This maximises efficiency and mutual understanding which provides you with the desired level of peace of mind. The first question many clients ask is ‘how can you assure me that your guards are where they supposed to be and they are alert and doing their job?’ In days gone by this was a major problem. Where guards were left alone out of hours for long unsupervised periods but not anymore. We have developed our own high tech digital solution called ‘GUARDSAFE’ which no other security company has. It is a computerised system we’ve tailor made to completely eliminate the age old problem of sleepy and wandering guards. It works like this. This is the Guardsafe system. It comprises of two screens, this one at the back is a screen of all calls as they’ve come in every hour. This one at the front is the control sheet. It displays the telephone numbers for all the guards that are working and all the sites that are active. In this screen we record incoming calls. As I make a check call, the mobile phone will contact the system and here, you will see my number displayed. This automatically updates the system to record that I have called in to say that I am well, and that the site is safe. Guardsafe makes sure that guards are alert and safe by monitoring their movements. After logging on at the start of his or her shift, with a unique security code, over the mobile phone network, each guard then checks in every hour to confirm that they and their site are safe and secure and that they have concluded all patrols assigned to them. Additional code generators can be situated around your site to confirm that full patrols have been followed and this information is flashed back to our control. This means that we know within seconds that every one of our guards are working to provide you with the absolute maximum level of security. Periodically throughout each guards shift, our computer system contacts the site and asks for a verification code. This code changes every few minutes. This totally eliminates the opportunity for guards to wander off and again maximise our security to you. In addition to that, the code generator uses a scramble coding system which combines time, date and site location and is so complex that anyone trying to beat the system would be detected immediately. At the start of the shift the guard uses his phone to transmit this code to our system. The code changes every few minutes and they must match the code within the check points. The codes cannot be broken because they are random, but they verify that the officer, the site, the time and date all comply with the scenarios recognised in the checkpoint system. It’s all very clever. If a code is detected that is incorrect, our computer jumps into action. It first contacts the guard to establish why there is a problem. An unsatisfactory response will lead to our patrol seeking the nearest mobile officer to call in and confirm the safety and operation on that site. Naturally, everything we do is logged to ensure records are kept at every stage and that the property is correctly secured. Finally, in the unlikely event that we are not convinced that the guard is where he should be, or there is a variance with their timed calls, a mobile supervisor is immediately deployed to the site and arrives within a few minutes. We don’t charge for this service. We’ve gone out of our way to ensure this comprised system is working to maximise your security, through our Guardsafe system. And this has proved very successful. Our Guardsafe system has proved to be one of the most robust security systems in the whole country. This has all come about after operating for some 10 years across Yorkshire and we have now firmly established long term relationships with many blue chip customers who trust and acknowledge our determination to meet their needs and improve the reputation of the security industry.
